  Routine
Life is like topography, Hobbes. There are summits of happiness and success... ...Flat stretches of boring routine... ...And valleys of frustration and failure.
Calvin

What more can I say? Life's been following that very sequence; only the stretches seem more familiar right now and the summits and valleys simply short abrupt breaks. Infact, contemplating about them too much, momentarily unsettles me out of my comfortable no-brainer life and I'm lost again...till I quickly shake my head, like a kid putting away bad thoughts, and continue down the same path.

So a post after a reeeely long time...

Hey, a new college, a new course, new friends, and you claim that life's been dull n boring... cummon, in my dictionary NEW means EXCITING

life here has been exactly the opposite. I don't know how I am surviving :( It's been the 10th consecutive day of sleeping at 4 and waking at 7

Happy Diwali & Eid Mubarak!

Happy Diwali and may your stretches become shorter, valleys shallow and peaks higher :)

I'm in the middle of a long vacation, so college seems too far away to be the exciting factor in my life.

Hey Abahaya, thanks. You sound just like my father, only he never quotes. :)

Happy Diwali & Eid Mubarak to everyone too! Even though I completely forgot about either of them...

not sure if I should say thanks or cry out in terror "eeeeks !!" . Whatever :P

But I don't buy that u managed to miss diwali and if u really did, I think it is a red signal for all the marketing guys out there: "Hello !! Somebody still manages to slip through ur all pervasive clucthes and forget that it is Diwali." :D

Believe it.

Had to attend the puja in my office and I spend most of my time there checking out the DSL connection.

"You write because you need to write, or because you hope someone will listen, or because writing will mend something broken inside you, or bring something back to life-" - Jay Makintosh (from Blackberry Wine) I need to write. I need to rearrange and refine sentences. I want to ponder over how to put that thought in words; so that it fits in the scheme of things just so. Words can create magic and I want to get lost in them for some part of each day's life.
